I’ve had this problem for a long time. But it wasn’t so critical. It’s just frustrating to see the ISA management hangs.
Basically, when i open the console, double click on one of the firewall rules, go to the protocol tab… the console hangs. I will have to
(1) leave it and come back in 15mins, when the console will close by itself, or
(2) open another instance of ISA management console, or
(3) go to services.msc, and restart all ISA services
This happens because service packs are not installed. Install all the service packs and the problem will disappear
